From looking at their websites it is hard to tell, but Penn Foster indicates accreditation on their site and Herkimer does not – at least I couldn’t find it on the Herkimer site. Hopefully someone who is familiar with both will respond to your question.

Is an online college degree treated the same as an actual university degree?

I want a couple different bachelor’s degrees, and I was wondering if online college degrees (like the university of phoenix) are treated the same when applying for a job? Because with working a full time job, and already going to school full time, I don’t have time for anymore on campus classes, so an online school sounds tempting for one of the degrees I want. Did I lose everyone already?

Your degree will not state whether your classes where taken one way or the other. It will simply have the name of the university/college.

There are a bunch of traditional schools that offer courses online. Maybe looking at a community college or small school to save on costs may help. The key is to find a program that is fully accredited. Distance Learning Alliance has a list of these traditional online schools. Look at that if you are truly concerned with the name of the school. Can anyone tell me what they paid for a good college degree online.
What level AA BA etc. Were and how much did it cost?

IMHO the best and most cost effective online degree is Harvard extension school:

You cant beat Harvard reliability. The catch is – a few classes must be done on campus. The cost – about $700-800 per subject.

My wife is considering earning a nursing degree online. She has a bachelor’s degree in Management already and she wants to get a nursing degree online. I really need some help
