I’m wanting to get an education degree, but don’t work in the school system.

You need to be employed, but not necessarily in the field you study! There are very few degrees at the U of P that require you to be working in that field – the only one, at the undergrad level, that I can think of is nursing. So to be an education major, you’re fine, just as you are.

Go ahead and contact them to discuss your situation. But don’t forget to check out the online (and part time, if that works for you) degree options available local to you. You may be surprised that some of your local state colleges and universities may offer this degree online, and if you can find a public college near you that does so, it’ll be your least expensive option.

I have a Bachelors of Science, but can’t seem to find a decent job. I am considering going back for my Masters. I work in the day, and must be home in the evening. I will take classes online, but why put the effort if it’s not recognized by hiring managers.

If you are serious about improving your job prospects you not only need to chose the correct career path but also the best school for you. There are many…MANY schools with a better reputation. They will take longer to graduate, but nothing good comes easy! If you want to pay your tuition and buy a degree as quickly as possible, U of P is for you.

First, review the various universities that offer an online nursing education. Some of the nation’s finest universities offer computer based training and there are other online programs that are not as qualified. The best thing to do is simply evaluate the universities and programs and read reviews from past students. You may even ask past students of certain universities how they fared when they graduated and applied for jobs. Studying through an online nursing education program is a great idea if you are dedicated and committed to studying at home.

Finally, to really ensure you get the best nursing education out there then you will want to study. Just because online nursing education is an option doesn’t mean you don’t have to do the work. The computer based training simply allows you to study around your schedule, not get away without studying. So, make sure you always study so you get the best online nursing education possible.

And, while it is an option to study from a local library and use their computer and Internet you will find it much more convenient and comfortable to study from your own computer and Internet connection. So it is recommended to have a computer, nothing fancy, and high speed Internet to really take advantage of the benefits offered by studying online.

An online nursing education is now possible thanks to technology and individuals interested in becoming nurses should really take advantage of this. There is no reason to choose between work and school when you can work while getting an online nursing education. Go ahead and start checking out the online nursing programs you are interested in. It’s easy to sign up and get started and when you do you will be working on your future as a nurse, so don’t delay.
