I want a couple different bachelor’s degrees, and I was wondering if online college degrees (like the university of phoenix) are treated the same when applying for a job? Because with working a full time job, and already going to school full time, I don’t have time for anymore on campus classes, so an online school sounds tempting for one of the degrees I want. Did I lose everyone already?

Your degree will not state whether your classes where taken one way or the other. It will simply have the name of the university/college.

There are a bunch of traditional schools that offer courses online. Maybe looking at a community college or small school to save on costs may help. The key is to find a program that is fully accredited. Distance Learning Alliance has a list of these traditional online schools. Look at that if you are truly concerned with the name of the school. i want to do an online college, and i want to get an associates degree in health care administration or something like that, but i don’t want to get caught up in a scam or anything. please help!

I have a 4 year enlistment.

if you have zero credits now, then no. it takes about twice as along to earn a degree while AD as you can pretty much only take one class at a time.

a 2 year degree is much more realistic a goal.

He found that pushing all the hurts down didn’t work and fighting it alone was futile. Only one thing worked and that was to Run To Jesus. Jesus said he will take extra care of Bruised Reeds. Ron Beck has enjoyed writing for years mostly contributing to church newsletters and other small projects. The interest to write a book came from counseling people who had wounded emotions. I have a Masters already from a regular college, but i’m considering getting a degree in another subject , perhaps even a PHd. Will an online degree get laughed at by potential employers?

Online programs continue to grow in popularity and acceptance. Many of the finest campus programs have begun offering degrees online because of the advantages they offer. Additionally most programs do not indicate whether your degree was earned online or on campus. That being said not all schools are the same. Just as how some campus programs are not viewed favorably by potential employers same thing goes for online schools. I would recommend contacting a number of schools to see which one is the best fit for you and has the best reputation. I would also make sure that any school you are considering is accredited. I did a search for accredited online degrees and this site seems to have good information and some schools to check out that offer masters degrees, graduate certificate programs and phd degrees.
