I got my Associates degree in Business Administration from a community college. I am thinking of going to Ashford University online to get my bachelors degree in Accounting but I have heard some good and bad things about getting a degree online.
So I was wondering since Ashford is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and so is New Mexico State University, could I possibly take the majority of the classes at Ashford and transfer them and take maybe three of four classes at NMSU to get a degree there? Or if not could I get my BS at Ashford and get a masters at NMSU? Thanks in advance.

forget online schools, go to a real one

I am interested in enrolling for an online degree with Ashford University in Education. I am not sure if they are legitimate though. They seem like it and their website says they also have campuses available. Has anyone taken courses online or on campus through them? Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

I am very happy with my program and with this school. They are regionally accredited and one of the most affordable online programs out there. My enrollment advisor was great too!

Ashford University is regionally accredited by the NorthCentral Association. That’s the level of accreditation you should insist on with any program – online or classroom. The NorthCentral Association is the accreditor of all of the "normal" universities in that part of the country.

We can’t say "same as any" because you can’t pick any two out there and say they’re the same.

Harvard isn’t the same is West Florida for example. Ashford is nowhere near the class of Harvard.

USNews ranks them as "unranked school", that’s not very good for reputation enhancement.
