Should I transfer to Baker College from Ashford University?

Hello! I currently attend Ashford University online and want to transfer to Baker College online. Does anyone know if this is a wise choice for me or should I just remain at the school I am attending. My financial aid is up November 2nd week; they told me at Ashford. They said I can transfer at that time. Do you think Ashford or Baker is a better school? I am taking Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration at Ashford, but will take Bachelor of Health Services Administration at Baker. Actually practically the same degree I believe. Is there a difference I am unaware of between the two degrees? Both the schools are regionally accredited, but Ashford is like $300+ a credit hour and Baker is $190 a credit hour. Classes last 6 weeks at Baker and at Ashford 5 weeks.-Both use Blackboard for their online virtual camus. Do you think I should stay-put or transfer? Any information you provide is well needed. Thank you in advance.

I can’t say whether Baker or Ashford is a better school. My perception is that they are pretty much on the same level in terms of reputation.

Given that the two degrees are almost identical, but Baker has significantly lower fees, I would go for the lower fee option. Any money you can save in obtaining your degree is a bonus. Why pay more for the same item? It makes no sense.

The question that you need to answer yourself is, what motivates you to want to transfer out of Ashford into Baker? If it is just lower course fees, why not? If there are other factors that are more important to you, you will need to assess whether a transfer to Baker will deal effectively with those other factors.
