I’m looking into getting my degree through an online program and have been trying to do as much research as possible. As of now I am seriously considering Ashford University. I’m just wondering if anyone has had experience with this school or know of anyone who has. If you have any feedback on this school I would greatly appreciate the insight. I’ve found a good bit of information and stats but haven’t yet heard any personal experiences and that speaks volumes to me. So please let me know! Thanks!

I currently am in Ashford University and I’ll tell you that you really want to check out the financial part, as from what I’m told it is going to cost me about a 1,000 per class and that doesn’t include books, which I have to order from some other company, plu you have too many people handling your financial issues and its a real headache having to repeat forms to different financial advice people. I am up to 3 different people handling the money part.Now I’m wondering if I made a big mistake. I just found out that my local university is offering classes and off campus its a deal money wise.

It is a traditional brick and mortar university with accreditation. It will not specify online on the degree, because it is an actual accredited degree not a paper mill or whatever it is these idiots call it these days. I attend, I make good grades. It does cost a pretty penny, but you learn a great deal. Those who say negative things about it, probably aren’t intelligent enough to survive through any college or university. BTW, I earned my associates from a brick and mortar school. The only thing I truly miss from the traditional school is being babied from my professor and talking to my buds. Don’t listen to other people. Just listen to your instinct. Good luck.

This is a warning for anyone that is thinking of enrolling in Kaplan University Online. Before you get too eager to enroll in Kaplan University Online do a search using the key words "kaplan university ripoff" and read about how many people who enrolled in Kaplan University Online were riped off because Kaplan University Online accepted and stole their student loans, grants and registration fee and blocked them out of their online courses without giving them the education or degree that was promised by Kaplan University Online. Don’t waste your time or money on Kaplan University Online for a education and degree that you will never get.

Besure to spread the word about Kaplan University so that no one else will be a victim and have to pay for a very expensive lesson of paying something for nothing like I did.

IMHO the best and most cost effective online degree is Harvard extension school:

You cant beat Harvard reliability. The catch is – a few classes must be done on campus. The cost – about $700-800 per subject.
